We heard a good tip a few days ago about bananas. If you separate them from the herd…they keep better than leaving them in a bunch. It works. We had a lot of trouble using them up before they turn black even when we just bought a half-dozen.
A parallel: It is just the opposite for Christians. Christians are commanded to gather together often. Some have taken to forsaking assembling together and just substituting the internet for church. God commands that we not give up assembling together with our Christian brethren.
Hebrews 10:23-26. “Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another…”
It is pretty neat to look up all the “One Another” Scriptures. Would be good to hear a complete sermon on “one another”. God’s Word has the best spiritual tips and we would do well to heed them.
