WHO IS LEADING US?
When we look at the changing seasons, especially the autumn and winter, it should remind us that our time on earth is temporary also. The leaves on the trees are turning different beautiful colors and leaving the trees.
Someday we will leave too, when our time on earth is up. Temporary things are sometimes a shadow of the spiritual things.
What if some Israelites (Book of Exodus) had refused to leave Egypt and had chosen to stay in slavery to the Egyptians? What kind of life would that have been by their own decision.
Moses and Joshua leading the children of Israel toward the promised land is a shadow of Jesus leading us to heaven. How sad that some choose to not follow Him.
